[UNBOXING] LOLABOX Birthday Box April 2014

A bad day since I woke up this morning because of headache all the day + pile of works because of deadlines and appointments to be set up. A little spark that brightens up my day is this box I subscribe which delivered to my office this afternoon.

This is the second time I subscribed LOLABOX. My first time was the February box which turns out dissapointing. I intended to do a blog post but simply didn't have time. I didn't subscribe March box which I regret a lot because of the reviews I have seen that the box contains good stuffs.

This months is a special edition box to celebrate their birthday. It costs cheaper than usual which is 111.000 IDR. The normal subscription cost is 145.000 IDR. So, let's get into the pictures and what I think about them.

[FAVOURITE] Shu Uemura 6 ♥ Princess Limited Edition

I KNOW IT'S LATE BUT I ♥ IT SO BRING IT ON! LOL!

Okay, this actually also requested by my friend, to write a review about this even if this is extremely late. LOL.

I was drawn to this limited edition release because of the commercials. Okay I admit it! I am a big fan of VOCALOID and kz (livetune) is one of producers that I am fond to. So yeah, and combined with the visual by Takashi Murakami. HOW CAN I MISS THIS RELEASE? NO WAY!

Bold Lips with Anna Sui Minnie Mouse Lipstick Limited Edition

So, at the beginning of this April, I joined an event from Female Daily, a forum about beauty and other female's thing. The event is a beauty workshop with bold lips as the theme, a cooperation between Female Daily, Anna Sui and Galeries Lafayette. The Christmas 2013 Limited Edition products from Anna Sui is featured in this event as well along with their other products.

The lipstick's color is gorgeous, I'm not

[QUICK FIRST IMPRESSION] SILKYGIRL Hydra Clean Makeup Remover for face, eyes, and lips

Despite of a very long list of review I'm planning to put on my lovely journal, at the end I just put a different thing from the list. Today is one of that moment. I was in a quest of restocking my eye makeup remover. I have used up two bottles of SILKYGIRL eye makeup remover and I want to stock up this particular product. Unfortunately, it was out of stock anywhere I go. Finally I bought the L'oreal one which usually a bit more expensive, but ain't gonna complain with the 30% discount.

Today, out of curiosity, I went to the drugstore named Guardian near my apartment. HOLY CHOCOLATE FUDGE! They have restocked it! Damn! It is on a 20% discount too. At first, I want to buy that also to restock in case the out-of-stock-tragedy would happen again somewhere in the near future. Then I see this remover, it is the last one of the shelves and I am curious of how well it would perform in cleaning my makeup, especially my eyes and lips. This product called SILKYGIRL Hydra Clean Makeup Remover for face, eyes, and lips. It is a lotion type of cleanser, similar to the cleansing milk product.

I was a bit skeptical since from my experience, lotion or milk type cleanser is not really good in cleaning make up. I WAS WRONG! I try this to clean my eyeliner, which is the Estee Lauder double wear stay in place eye pencil. This eye pencil is a bit of hard work to get off and this Hydra Clean works nicely to do the job. It remove the eye pencil not as fast as the eye makeup remover counterpart, but the texture is just so soft, the feeling is so divine. I love this so much! When I'm using the normal eye makeup remover, I find that the remover gives a slight harsh feeling to my eyelid and I need to rub a bit. Well, that's just my bad habit, please don't do it. The Hydra Clean though, really gives the soft feeling when I clean my eyelid. You can barely feel like the cotton pad touching your skin.

I usually use a similar product, which is Sariayu Milk Cleanser in Rose variant. The Sariayu one though, is thinner in terms of consistency. Although the Kenanga Variant is thicker and resembles the texture of Hydra Clean more. The Sariayu Milk Cleanser have sharper smell which could be a turn off and also it slightly irritate my skin, especially when I have acne and blemishes on my face. The Hydra Clean feels really soft and mild that it won't irritate my skin at all. Also, Hydra Clean do the job much better!

The down side I found from this product is that it hardly reaches small places due to its thicker consistency. I putted my eyeliner in between my lashes along my lash line. It cleans all the makeup anywhere else except the small places between each strands of my lashes. I have no problem in doing this with my eye makeup remover, so I think it's just the thick consistency.

Afterall I love this product, it is not pricey at all, it cost around 26.000 IDR for 100 ml of products. Will I repurchase it in the future like the eye makeup remover? I still don't know but I don't think so since I am not a big fan of Milk/lotion type face cleanser.
