[REVIEW] Canmake - Cream Cheek - Clear CL01

Hi all! First, I would like to say "HAPPY EID MUBARAK" for all of you who are Moslems. I apologize for being quite for awhile. I just have a lot of things happen. I was moving out from my previous apartment. Actually, I am still in the same apartment complex but move to different tower. To be honest with you all, my room is still such a mess and I need to really tidy up everything, especially my vanity. At least, I am successfully wash my brushes. I am always just feels too tired after work and on weekend. I also need to start work out, seems like I am lacking of stamina lately.

Okay, so apparently Canmake has came to our beloved country Indonesia. Surely, I don't have to think what to pick to try. I bought the cult favourite, The cream cheek in shade CL01 which is the clear red one. Actually, it has been months since I bought it, but it takes me weeks after I decided to open and try it out. Then, until now, this becomes my most used cream blush, even beats my beloved Shu Uemura 6❤Princess in Heroine Rose.

First, let's adore this jewelry like packaging. As expected from Japanese products, they always have either sleek and elegant style or super cute and gorgeous packaging. This products falls to the second type. 

On the pan, the color is a bright true red that it might scared some of you. Although, that is not something to be afraid of since the color is actually clear. It applied beautifully on the skin and because it is clear it suited to most if not all skin shade from the very fair to dark, even though on really deep dark skin it probably won't really show.

The color is a natural flush color, most likely pink on my skin rather than red. On fairer skin, it would appear more reddish though which will be so pretty. It would looked like you are blushing from within. The type of color it produces is a natural healthy blush that will make you appear youthful. Since it is a natural type of color, you won't need to think a lot, when you in doubt of what blush you wear, just grab this. Apply thinly for more natural and a little bit pinkier result, or more for heavier look and you can top it with a powder blush.

It is also really easy to blend. You don't need to much effort to blend it in. All you need is dab your finger on the product and then onto your cheek. Your fingers are the best tool to apply this product, but if you think you apply too much, you can always blend it using your foundation brush that still have product leftover on it.

In term of longevity or staying power, this products, on its own, won't survive too long of Jakarta humid and hot weather which makes the driest of skin tends to still sweat a lot, unless you always in the air conditioned place. You can, though, make it stay longer by applying translucent setting powder on top of it, but it would mattify the finish. You can also, as I said, apply powder blush on top of it as well. It would make the blush stay almost all day long with good base make up. You can also use primer beforehand.

Although the staying power is not the best performance, you can easily re-apply throughout the day. The packaging is small so it is easy to throw it in your purse and re-apply on the go. You don't need to be bothered to touch up because all you need is your fingers. And you practically only need seconds to apply and blend and everything looks great. It also won't disrupt any makeup under it as long as you apply and blend using dabbing motion, instead of swiping.

Since the product is a sheer type products, somehow it goes unnoticed on camera, but on real life it is really pretty. Below is some pictures of me using this without any powder blush or setting powder on it to maintain the glowy fresh finish. It would be hard to see, on some device it might be noticeable but on some it would not. But I dare you, this is the prettiest blush with super quick application. 

As you see it might be so sheer but in real life it is more noticeable and it does really looks a real natural flush.

You can also find the products easily with affordable price to. You can easily find Canmake at most of Guardian store, especially the big ones in malls like Central Park or Grand Indonesia. It is also available in another supplier which I forget the name, you can find it right next to Etude House store in Mall Kelapa Gading. This sells for 128,000 IDR so even if you pre-order from online shops, it would cost about the same, unless you order the shades that are not available here, but CL01 is the most popular shade and it is available here, so you do not need to worry.

So here are my verdicts:

~ It is affordable, it is drugstore brand anyway.
~ Easy to apply and blends.
~ Easy to bring everywhere and reapply (compact packaging)
~ Suitable for almost all skin shades
~ Looked so natural, you don't have to think too much. Even if you do not use make up, just pop this on and you will look fresh and healthy.

At the end, I really recommends you to try this out! Especially if you just start using make up and don't know what to use as blush. Or you just want something looks natural and quick that you don't want to think too much about and can be re-applied anytime.
